WEDNESDAY EVENING PRAYER MEETING AND BIBLE STUDY is a time for concentrated congregational prayer followed by a more in-depth study of selected doctrines and biblical passages chosen by a pastor.  This is a time of sharing prayer requests, testimonies, and then praying together.  During our Bible study we often have lively discussions, taking relevant questions from the congregation.  Past Wednesday night Bible studies have included topics such as Colossians, How to Pray, Creation, Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, How to Study Your Bible, Teaching the Bible to Children and How to Understand the Old Testament.

PRAYER FOR PREACHING MINISTRY meets every Sunday morning from 10:30-10:45 to pray for God’s Spirit to work during the worship service.  In addition to praying for the service, this ministry is also an opportunity to pray for one another and specific needs in the congregation.  This ministry involves those who have a desire to serve the body through prayer. Participants keep a journal in which prayer requests and needs to be prayed for are included. Answers to prayers are also recorded in the journal, encouraging us to give all glory to God.  This ministry meets in the classroom to the right of the auditorium.

MEN’S FRIDAY FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST
is for the purpose of building relationships and promoting godly fellowship through the sharing of a meal. Those men who are available meet every Friday at 6:30 a.m. at Bruner’s restaurant.  This is also an opportunity to invite non-Christian men to meet members of our congregation.

CD MINISTRY records our sermons and makes copies available immediately after the worship service.  Our members use this ministry in a variety of ways, including reaching out to our shut-ins, introducing others outside our fellowship to Biblical teaching, enhancing our evangelistic efforts, and for continuing to study the sermon passage throughout the week.
